End of Season Review

^{_{Well Done to the whole team who represented the University in a proffessional}}^{_{and sporting way in this last year! This was the first season that the Club gained official status from the Athletics Union. Chris Westwood and Jamie Warner have both put in hours of preportation and admin in running and starting the club and the whole club is greatful for all of your hard work!}}

^{_{The first team won there first match against Bournemouth University and played in Two National League Tournaments, Varsity against Southampton University and also the University Cup held at Birmingham University. As well as taking part in both training and tournament the UoP Tchoukball Club has this year actively promoted the club with regular updates on the website as well as articles in the University Newspaper 'Pugwash'.}}

^{_{More than 30 players played during the season with regular training sessions with the Portsmouth Tchoukball Team. The UoP Tchoukball Club would like to thank both Andrew Wolfe Alex French and Dave Going in particular with their dedication to the sport and coaching of the Club.}}

_{^{We say Goodbye to two players who are leaving the club at the end of a busy season. Dan 'Tug' Morgan joined the club at Freshers' Fair when he spoke to us while promoting his other sport, Octopush. With balancing his time between the two club he has provided his expertise in helping the committee in running the club and also quality 'Tug Dougs' which always catch out the opposition.}}

_{^{Jenny Lemme, leaves us aswell to return to Germany to continue her studies. She has been an amazing centre pivot for}}_{^{the team this year with accuracy and ability to change the game in the centre of the court.}} _{The team will miss you next year but we hope that more international players will be inspired to join if you have experiance in Handball.}

_{Oliver Laurenson-Gore is leaving us this season by gaining a Placement in High Wycombe as part of his Marketing Degree. We thank him for the work he has done in his role this year at Social & Media Sec on the Committee.}

_{We wish the new committee which includes some first years into the leading roles of the club great success in the next coming year and hope they do everything they can to build on the success of this year! We look forward to meeting all the new students at our first social's and training in October.}
